Starting salary: $45,000. Total salary range in this position is $45K to $55K.
Position Description: Focus is on gaining strong fundamental knowledge of the HVS database resources, learning how to conduct hotel market studies, compile a room night analysis, analyze hotel financial operating statements, learn appraisal concepts and techniques, and assist certified appraisers in the valuation of hotels and resort properties. This successful candidate will be trained and responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies and appraisal reports for hotel, motel and resort properties.
The preparation of reports includes:
· Fieldwork
· Travel
· Property inspections
· Area interviews
Minimum computer skills needed are proficiency in Excel and Word. Tenure in this position will also involve completing State of Florida requirements for a Registered Trainee Appraiser license. Typical time frame in this position, prior to promotion to the Associate level, is 2 years.

Requirements:

Holding a Registered Trainee Appraiser license in the State of Florida is very helpful, but not completely necessary in applying for this position.
Starting salary: $58,000. Total salary range in this position is $58K to $68K.
Position Description Focus on completing consulting assignments (including market and financial feasibility studies, product positioning studies etc.) and appraisals for the following property types: hotels, resort properties, hospitality driven mixed use developments, and shared ownership real estate (timeshare, fractional, private residence clubs, etc.). Holding a Certified General Appraiser license in the State of Florida (or another state) is necessary in applying for this position. Real estate appraisal experience in hotels is helpful, but not necessary in applying for this position. Typical annual earnings in this position will be $66K to $90K depending upon individual experience and efficiency.
